Michael has over 20 years of executive-level experience in technology management. Prior to his executive responsibilities at I.C.E Datacenters and Metro Optic, he was Chief Executive Officer of FiberMedia Group, a multi-regional datacenter provider with 7 datacenters in New York, New Jersey, Ohio and London, UK. Prior to FiberMedia, Michael was responsible for corporate development as well as C-Labs at Consonus Technologies, a leading multi-regional datacenter provider in the Southeastern and Western US. Michael also spent six years with GE Capital in Stamford, CT, where he built and managed a $70MM IT services business.
President and COO
Dan has over 35 years of operating experience in the communications, Internet and datacenter industry. Dan is the Founder and President of Metro Optic, a Montreal-based operator of high-speed fiber networks and datacenters in Montreal. Prior to that, he was working in the IT industry with Amdahl Corporation in technical, management and sales roles, where he had responsibility for over $30 million of direct customer revenue. Dan has also worked in the hi-tech financing and leasing industry with direct responsibility for over $50 million of business. Dan sits on the board of the Quebec Internet Exchange.
Pierre Blouin spent 30 years in the North American telecom and technology industry and recently retired as Chief Executive Officer of Manitoba Telecom Services Inc. and MTS Allstream. Previously, he occupied various senior executive positions within the BCE group of companies including President and Chief Executive Officer of Bell Mobility Inc., Chief Executive Officer of BCE Emergis Inc. and Group President, Consumer Markets for Bell Canada. Mr. Blouin is also an active corporate director and currently sits on the Board of Fortis Inc., the National Bank of Canada and the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation.
Board Member, Tandem
André Gauthier has 25 years of business and management experience. Throughout his career, Mr. Gauthier has acquired vast experience in every aspect of financial management including multi-jurisdiction mergers and acquisitions, raising financing from private and public equity and debt capital markets, debt restructuring, investor relations, reporting, corporate governance and regulatory compliance of US and Canadian listed companies. Mr Gauthier served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Telesystem International Wireless Inc. (“TIW”) until it was sold to Vodafone Group Plc (“Vodafone”) in 2005 in a transaction valued at US$4.5 billion. Mr. Gauthier holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from HEC Montreal and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1984 and the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec.
Board Member, Tandem
Christophe Bourque was previously an investment banker with Genuity Capital Markets and BMO Capital Markets where he worked on M&A assignments such as the sale of Cossette Communications to Mill Road Capital, the sale of World Color Press to Quad/Graphics, the MBO of Medisys Health Group, and advising Videotron on their bid in the 2008 AWS wireless auction. While at BMO Capital Markets, his industry coverage included communications, healthcare, media and technology. Christophe is a Board Member of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation. Christophe graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce.
